Google Ads & Websites · Braintree, Essex

Stop paying for clicks your site can’t convert.

Scaling Google Ads takes more than tweaking bids — it takes a site that can handle what the ads send it. I run both, so the budget points at pages that actually close, whether that’s a checkout or a quote request.

A 15-minute call. Before we speak, I review your ads and site myself to pinpoint what’s actually broken — then tell you straight, whether that’s a quick fix, a full rebuild, or confirmation you don’t need me.

What I do

Two things, properly.

Google Ads

Most clients get in touch because their ads aren’t paying back. I rebuild the measurement first so you can trust the numbers, then restructure the campaigns around what actually sells and what actually makes money — not what looked good in a Performance Max report.

Search, Shopping, Performance Max, product feeds and Merchant Center. Ecommerce and enquiry work.

Websites

A site that takes payments and a site that takes enquiries are different jobs, and most builds go wrong by pretending otherwise. Shopify stores, rebuilds of stores that were never right, and fast sites and landing pages for trades where one job is worth thousands.

The build is the other half of the campaign. The tracking goes in before launch rather than after, so the budget points at pages that actually close.

Most agencies do one or the other. The ones claiming both usually subcontract half of it.

Which one are you?

Why this got harder

Google Ads is an auction you can’t see.

Performance Max, Demand Gen, Smart Bidding — most decisions in a modern account are made automatically, against signals that never show up in your reports.

Bad tracking used to just mean bad reporting. You’d look at the wrong number, shrug, and move on.

Today, bad tracking means bad bidding.

The algorithm optimises towards whatever you told it success looks like. If that definition is wrong, Google will spend your budget becoming exceptionally good at buying the wrong thing.

That waste compounds every month it runs.

How the work runs

Track. Fix. Scale.

Most agencies skip tracking. I start there.

01

Track

Nine out of ten accounts I audit have broken tracking. GA4 gets rebuilt, Tag Manager gets cleaned up, and conversions fire on real enquiries and real orders — not page views and button clicks. Until you can trust the numbers, everything built on top of them is money wasted.

02

Fix

Campaigns built on bad data were shaped around imaginary numbers. They get rebuilt from scratch, structured around what actually sells and what actually makes money. If your tracking was already solid and the bidding has matured, I optimise rather than reset the learning. Rare, but it happens.

03

Scale

Once campaigns turn a clear profit, the work compounds. Ads scale where the returns hold. The site does its half — checkout friction, landing page drops. SEO joins three to five months in, once paid revenue funds the patience organic search requires.

The work.

Ecommerce
UK Jewellery Brand · Shopify

Built from launch: tracking, paid and SEO from week one. Scaled to £35M in revenue across UK and US storefronts, holding #1 organic in both markets for core moissanite terms and outranking patent-holder Charles & Colvard. Held those rankings for six months after the exit, with no new content and no new links.

Average ROAS, four-year
#1
UK and US
GH Leathers · Shopify

Leather merchants. £9,360 of ad spend returned £94,505 in revenue (Jan–Aug 2026), a 10.1× return.

Pura Gems · Shopify

Complete custom store build, including a ring builder that prices live as buyers change diamond, metal and size.

Also: Lime Lace · Baxter & Baxter · The Dodo Pad

Enquiry work
Premier Sport Surfaces · tennis courts and sports surfaces

Installations for schools, clubs and councils, where a single job runs to tens of thousands. Cost per enquiry fell from £154 to £93 (Jan–Aug 2026) while monthly enquiries went from 13 to 33 — enquiries up 150% on 50% more spend. At that job value, £93 for a qualified enquiry is the arithmetic that makes paid search obvious.

Home Build Doors · Shopify, sold through home visits

Windows and doors on Shopify, but the sale closes at a home visit, not a checkout. The campaigns weren’t the whole problem: the site was inviting people to buy something they were meant to enquire about. So the ecommerce elements came out, the navigation was rebuilt around reaching a quote, and new enquiry forms and landing pages went in. Cost per lead fell from £105 to £60, conversion rate from 1.01% to 5.54%, and monthly leads went from 65 to 157 (Jan–Aug 2026).

VVIP Events Zante · high-volume consumer

A different shape entirely: 3,745 enquiries at £22.53 each across £84,000 of spend.

You’ll be dealing with me.

No account managers, no juniors running your ad spend against a template, and no handoff once the contract is signed. The person who audits your setup is the person managing it every week.

I build the static sites and landing pages myself. Shopify goes through my developer, someone I’ve worked with for years and manage directly. Either way, the person deciding what gets built is the person watching what the ads are doing.

That’s also why pricing is per account rather than off a rate card. Management typically runs £595 to £3,000+ a month, depending on what you spend and how much building there is to do.

You get a firm quote after the call — pricing an account before seeing what’s inside is guesswork.
